Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) LLC is seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals for the Salesforce Release and Deployment Engineer position. The Release and Deployment Engineer is a dynamic role working in collaboration with other teams across the business to support our government clients. The successful candidate will support release engineering and deployment for a Salesforce implementation. The successful candidate will be able to apply and grow their skills with a motivated and high-reaching team, engage with a wide range of collaborators, and build CGS’ capabilities in serving our clients.
As a Release and Deployment Engineer, you will:
Perform specific release management duties and PM responsibilities, including forming a governance structure for the Salesforce Platform team.
Work directly with the Salesforce team to integrate Salesforce into the customer working environment.
Use release management tools for Salesforce.
Support diverse development community, develop security models and RACI matrix to satisfy customers.
Have expertise in the mix of self-service release management tools
Support related to release management tool sets.
Basic Qualifications:
U.S. citizenship is required.
Eligible to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Experience with Salesforce Release Management and Platform Governance
Experience with Salesforce administration, DevOps, change-sets, and other change management processes.
Demonstrate experience with the full release management lifecycle including scheduling, coordinating, and the management of releases on the Salesforce platform.
Demonstrate experience in Copado or other Salesforce ALM tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills required to support the Development team throughout the release cycle.
Ability to manage release calendars and schedules along with multiple vendors and multiple environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Public Trust or higher level clearance.
Copado experience and certifications preferred.
Provide guidance on best practices and industry lessons learned specific to Salesforce.
Experience with Jenkins CI, Selenium, Apex, Force.com, Visual force, Apex, controllers, Triggers, and Data Loader
Experience with Change Sets and/or XML packages preferred.
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI-CD) preferred.
Experience with VCS (Version Control Systems) preferred.
Experience with project scoping and demo preparation experience in federal government settings preferred.
Experience with SSO and web services integration preferred.
Experience with Data migration preferred.

The disclosed range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, geographic location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $85K -$120K.
This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
