Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals for our sanitation team with 4 open positions. These are contract-to-hire roles with a 90-day evaluation period. The positions are available across two plants with the following shifts:
Plant 1:
• 1st shift – 1 open
• 2nd shift – 1 open
• 3rd shift – 1 open
Plant 2 (Interview Wednesday tour):
• 1st shift – 1 open
Base Pay: $16.20/hr
Shift Differential:
• 2nd shift: +$0.25
• 3rd shift: +$0.30
Shift Hours:
• 1st: Monday-Friday 7am – 3:30pm
• 2nd: Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12:00am
• 3rd: Tuesday-Friday 12:00am – Saturday 9:45am
In this role, you will wash and sanitize machines and parts used to make products, work in a wash room environment, and be trained to operate tow motors. You will also scrub floors, operate floor scrubbers, power washers, and large soap dispensers to clean out totes, tubs, and other products used in production. Additionally, you will empty and clean containers and machines, assist in general housekeeping duties such as cleaning break rooms, common areas, restrooms, and locker rooms, and receive cross-training in various tasks.
Hard Skills
+ Sanitation or janitorial experience
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs
+ Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Solon, Ohio.
Work Environment
- Wet, humid, fast-paced, heavy lifting, and dirty
- Running huge dishwashers and power washers
- Disposal of scrap and waste from nuts and berry products
- Diverse environment with team members from various cultural backgrounds
- Must have no allergies to any nuts
- Can be humid at times
- Fast-paced and semi-temperature controlled in some departments
- Will smell like nuts and berries
