The Sanitation Supervisor has the responsibility for managing the sanitation activities at the plant facility, ensuring work is completed as expected. The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for GMP compliance, overseeing housekeeping activities, and promoting a positive quality culture within the facility.
- Create SSOPs/ SOPs/ Checklists for all sanitation related tasks.
- Order Sanitation Supplies.
- Create training for operations on proper sanitation procedures.
- Master Sanitation and monitor for completion.
- Assist, recruit, direct, coach, lead and supervise all housekeeping/sanitation personnel in both Clara City Plant and Hutchinson Warehouse.
- Establish education and development programs for employees including SOP’s, quality specifications, safety, and job expectations.
- Serve as main contact for external vendors related to sanitation, including Hydrite, pest control, and janitorial services.
- Ensure drain cleaning and rack cleaning.
- Responsible for compliance and integrity inspections of the Color Code Program.
- Complete concentration checks.
- Assist with GMP and HACCP education of the employees.
- Assist Quality Assurance Manager in building and improving quality and sanitation systems.
Experience
- 3-5 years previous sanitation experience
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures and computer software applications.
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
