Sanitation Technician - Vetio Animal Health

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Cleaner to join our team at Vetio Animal Health, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company specializing in animal health products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in compliance with industry standards and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of production areas, equipment, and tools to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards.

- Use appropriate cleaning agents and methods to effectively clean and disinfect surfaces in manufacturing and storage areas.

- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures, including deep cleaning tasks as required.

- Conduct inspections of cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any maintenance or supply needs to the supervisor.

- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including checklists and compliance documentation.

- Assist in the training of new staff on sanitation protocols and safety practices.

- Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal disruption during cleaning processes.

- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sanitation or related fields is a plus.

- Previous experience in a cleaning or sanitation role, preferably in a pharmaceutical, food, or veterinary environment.

- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe handling.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures meticulously.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Good communication skills and ability to report issues effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
