Job Description:
As a Sanitation Worker, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our production facility. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing sanitation procedures on production equipment, machinery, and work areas to ensure they meet food safety standards.
- Cleaning and sanitizing floors, walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as per company protocols.
- Disposing of waste and sanitizing waste bins regularly.
- Monitoring and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
- Following all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sanitation, preferably in a food manufacturing or related industry.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and chemicals used in cleaning.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and overtime as needed.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
