About the Job
We are seeking a SAP ABAP Mid-level Developer to join our team supporting a Federal government client.
Candidate will play an intermediate role in providing support to the client's SAP S/4 HANA platform development along with associated environments and components. This position will develop project plans including design specifications and documentation, collaborate with other teams and functional offices concerning requirements, project planning, and execution; evaluate new technologies and development tools; and assist in establishing and maintaining standards for application development.
- Developer will work on the SAP ECC to S/4 Hana migration project, including code remediation and S4 Fiori development.
- Programming concepts in SAP modules such as FI/CO/MM/AM/PPS procurement.
- Work collaboratively with other junior developers and business analysts to ensure success of the S/4 migration project.
- Deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements. Developer will provide daily support in the SAP environment, including resolving help desk tickets on security assignments and issues and uploads.
- Conduct testing and support defect analysis and remediation.
- Technical Specification documentation and evaluation.
Position is remote within US.
*Position is contingent on contract award.
Project Specific Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required
- At least (3) three years of relevant experience required
- Experience in one or several SAP Products, e.g., SAP ECC/ Payroll/ Asset management/ / MM procurement
- Experience in one or several SAP Business Solutions, e.g., Revenue accounting/GL/ Record to Report
- Experience in ABAP Objects development frameworks (Workflow, User exits, BADIs and enhancements).
- Experience in developing tiles/links for Fiori Launchpad
- Experience in HANA ABAP Developments, objects build using HANA views, CDS views, XSA, XSA Security
- Transform traditional ABAP programs in legacy SAP system into S/4 HANA architecture.
- Experience in Business workflows, adobe forms, smart forms etc.
- Design and implement CDS and AMDP based on the business requirement.
- Adobe forms development in S/4 HANA
- Transactional application integration through OData Integration.
- Hands on experience on Developing OData Services, CDS, Workflows.
- Knowledge and experience in REST API service
- Understanding of SAP Authorizations.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Debug, tune and optimize programs for performance.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred experience:
- Current IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)
- Knowledge of IRS business systems and data
- Certification in SAP HANA Technology
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, including Scrum or Kanban processes
Additional requirements as per Contract/Client:
- Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain Moderate Risk MBI.
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant
