SAP BRIM Implementation for HPE's digital transformation. This position will focus on implementing XaaS business models using BRIM. Come be a part of using the latest SAP technology and modernizing HPE's processes and user experience!
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP administration and performance engineering, and should be able to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing SAP system performance, as well as developing and delivering effective solutions to ensure the highest performance standards are met. As a Performance Engineer, you'll need to work with development engineers and functional analysts, understand new cutting edge software, and identify performance tuning opportunities and conduct/analyze performance tests.
Responsibilities:
- Performance Optimization:
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal system performance and responsiveness.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to optimize the SAP landscape and infrastructure.
- Hands on performance optimization and recommendations across Fiori, oData, CDS, AMDP, ABAP and SQL traces including.
- Implement ATC
- HANA optimization (NUMA threads & memory consumption), workload class management
- Execute load & performance testing to discover bottlenecks and develop remediation plans working with development team
- Proactively monitor and analyze SAP system performance to identify areas of improvement
- Develop and deliver effective solutions to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues quickly and efficiently
- Provide guidance and support to the SAP team during the performance engineering process
- Evaluate system performance against benchmarks and standards
- Research and keep abreast of latest trends, technologies and best practices in SAP performance engineering
- Develop and maintain performance reports and documentation
- Collaborate with other SAP teams to ensure optimal performance
- Define, develop and apply performance/scalability benchmarks
- Work in cross-functional teams to characterize, debug, and improve system performance and scalability
- Work efficiently with various profiling tools to identify performance bottlenecks and provide root cause analysis
- Devise and conduct experiments to evaluate the performance impacts of system changes
- Plan and execute performance tests using an automated testing environment and conduct analysis of results
- Participate in architecture and design reviews of complex solutions in cross-team engineering efforts and own quality perspectives for the design
- Core Architecture Decision-Making: Define and communicate the technical architecture strategy to stakeholders, project teams, and leadership.
- System Design and Integration: Design and build scalable and sustainable SAP solutions, considering system integration, performance, scale, resiliency, and overall system architecture.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, including developers and system administrators. Mentor team members on SAP best practices and ensure adherence to established standards.
- Set future investment strategies for performance and scalability
Education and Experience Required:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of SAP implementation experience with a focus on performance optimization
- Hands-on system and technical architecture experience

Qualifications:
- You should have a thorough knowledge of SAP architecture, technology and components, and the ability to identify and solve performance issues quickly and efficiently
- You should be a great problem-solver, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Significant experience with troubleshooting and debugging complex integrated applications, deep knowledge in data model of various SAP applications and table structure is essential.
- Knowledge of basic system administration tasks such as database analysis, tracing issues, identifying performance bottlenecks is required.
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BRIM including Convergent Mediation and Convergent Charging.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP architecture, including Fiori, CDS, AMDP, and SAP Solution Manager.
- Experience in designing and implementing SAP solutions in complex, enterprise-level environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to make strategic decisions and provide guidance on technology-related matters.
- Perform hands-on solution design, development and implementation tasks including prototyping, proof-of-concepts, as needed to support projects and programs.
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
- Hands on, in-depth Subscription to Cash experience on the BRIM platform with knowledge of specific flows of the e2e subscription process
- Hands on, in-depth SAP technical knowledge including Fiori, CDS, AMDP, ABAP, HANA, APIs, BTP, Cloud Integration
- Experience with integration patterns, architectures, and technologies, such as web services, BTP, Mulesoft, Snaplogic, APIs, Convergent Mediation, and middleware
- Experience in performance testing tools - Neoload, Dynatrace, New Relic, SAP
- Experience working with HTTP Proxy tools such as Fiddler, HTTP Sniffer such as HTTPWATCH
- Experience in Fiori, HANA, CDS and ABAP debugging and Tuning
