Overview:
This is an individual contributor position (no direct reports) that will be responsible for delivering on QA test execution with no supervision. This individual will work closely with the larger QA team with members in Bangalore India and Columbus Ohio.
The position reports administratively to a QA Manager and has no direct reports and this role will require frequent collaboration across shores.

Qualifications:
- 4-7 years of experience of SAP FICO testing in retail/Manufacturing domain.
- BE/MCA from reputed institutes
- Proficient in manual testing of ERP Applications
- Proficient in manual testing in SAP Finance and SAP CAR. Good to have knowledge in SAP S/4 HANA.
- Good understanding of GL/AP/AR/Asset accounting modules
- Technically and functionally should be good in understanding the complex retail environments.
- Must have worked in integrated environments and should have knowledge in SAP IDOCS.
- Hands on experience Functional Testing, Interface Testing, Integration Testing.
- Experience delivering testing services in an onshore / offshore model preferred.
- Takes pride in delivering quality work to meet the needs of clients and customers.
- Exposure to software testing methodologies (test planning, test scope identification, test case
- Development, test execution, defect management).
- Organizational and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, proactive participation in Team environment
- Effective documentation and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Participation in Test Scenario and Test Case identification/authoring
- Creation and Maintenance of Test Scenarios and Test Cases
- Identification and Maintenance of Test Data
- Execution of tests both manual and automated
- Documentation of test execution utilizing Client ALM
- Proactively identify functional, technical, and integration related defects.
- Perform preliminary trouble shooting of defects to facilitate quick resolution
- Documentation of defects utilizing Client ALM/JIRA
- Delivers day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Effectively communicate issues and risks in addition to daily testing status to Team Lead or Test Lead
