Position Overview:
As a Senior Financial Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our financial systems. Your primary responsibilities will involve the thorough review, analysis, and testing of both existing and newly developed applications. You will ensure that programming code and data maintain the highest standards of integrity, addressing any issues that arise to facilitate smooth and accurate system operations.
In this role, you will work closely with various business users to gather, document, and analyze project requirements, helping to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders. You will also be responsible for performing reconciliations and conducting trend analysis on financial data to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
- Production System Support: Provide ongoing support for production systems, including the investigation and resolution of processing errors and system-related issues.
- Liaison Role: Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, effectively communicating complex ideas in both verbal and written formats.
- Dual Analyst Function: Perform the roles of both a business analyst and a quality assurance analyst, ensuring that all business requirements are met and that systems adhere to high-quality standards.
- Knowledge Maintenance: Stay informed about the business area you support and continuously update your knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure that all departmental standards, methods, and policies are strictly followed throughout the systems development and installation processes.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree or a 4-year technical degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role.
- A solid understanding of Systems Integration concepts and practical experience in applying them.
- A strong grasp of general accounting principles and their application in financial systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and other relevant tools.
