The SAP Functional Payroll Lead is responsible for providing broad-based SAP knowledge to Business users, including training of system functionality, design and implementation of configurations and customization, and recommendations for business process changes to meet evolving business requirements. You will work closely with Business Owners and other ITSD Towers to deliver HCM solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality end-user support to SAP users
- Understand complex requirements and formulate cost-effective best-in-class solutions to support business needs
- Analyze business processes and develop and implement improvements to streamline, simplify and optimize SAP solution
- Perform solution design and deliver solution documentation based on business requirements; perform post-deployment assessments and remedial actions to assure optimized business process
- Manage both enhancements and troubleshooting for integrations with SAP HCM.
- Create functional designs to be developed by SAP developers and validate results
- Provide functional guidance to Business Owners during testing cycles and approval process
- Develop project plans for future enhancements and implementations
- Maintain professional and good working relationships with Business Owners

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Should have 8+ years of experience in US and Canada Payroll
- Should have good understanding and configuration experience in Gross to Net calculation in US Payroll, TUBS , BSI & release upgrade.
- Resolve issues related to Payroll driver and time evaluation during the payroll processing
- Resolve Tax Reporter related issues during the year-end W-2 processing by collaborating with the respective teams
- Demonstrates capability to analyze business processes, functional and technical requirements and deliver effective and efficient business process improvements
- 5 or more years of experience in SAP consulting with SAP HCM module, administration and operational control for support and maintenance and implementation projects
- Cross functional experience with SAP modules would be advantageous, otherwise demonstrate capability to perform cross functional support role
- Demonstrates capability to analyze business processes, functional and technical requirements
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong understanding over high level business processes
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced business environment

- Experience in business process improvement consulting, administration and operational control for support and maintenance and implementation projects
- Must have supported SAP HCM operating environments

- Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is preferred.
