Seeking an SAP HANA Modeler / Developer (Senior Level) with the primary focus on SAP HANA development for minimum 5 - 7 years with experience in planning, architecture and implementation of large scale data warehousing initiatives on SAP HANA platform.
Expertise in Native Hana hands-on development experience: creating SAP HANA information models such as HANA Views (Calculation views) with graphical and SQL Scripting, Building complex ETL flows with SDI / SDA (Smart Data Integration) &, SAP Data Services within SAP HANA Cloud Platform. Experienced in building reports in SAP Business Objects Web intelligence & Tableau.
Skill Requirements:
· Hands on experience with calculation views, HANA SQL, security using analytical privileges is required.
· Strong understanding of HANA data provisioning using SDI, BODS, real-time replication.
· You should have ability to understand complex requirements and architect end to end Analytics solution comprising of ETL, HANA, reporting components.
· You should be expert in building performance efficient complex data models on SAP, non-SAP Data.
· Strong understanding of SAP HANA in-memory technology, columnar database, innovations.
· Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
· Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
· Strong SAP HANA SQL skills.
· Strong knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud Platform Security.
· Smart Data Integration (SDI), SAP Data Services.
· SAP Analytics Cloud.
· SAP Predictive Analytics.
· SAP Smart Data Access.
· Prior full life cycle implementation experience.
· Prior consulting experience.
· Deep experience in specific industry and/or functional area.
· Experience with database development using Big Data technology (Hadoop).
· Report Development expertise in using various BI tools – SAP, Tableau, Qlik, Pentaho.
Responsibilities:
Interpret various disparate data feeds and ingest flat files into HANA using SAP Cloud Data Integration tools to build custom data mart ETL to source data mart within HANA.
Perform complex ETL/aggregations on data sets prior to being loaded into HANA.
Leverage both SAP SDI/Data Services and HANA Calculation views to build mart structure.
Work with end stakeholders to perform validation and QC of final HANA mart output.
Minimum 5+ years of implementation experience with SAP HANA, Eincluding SAP HANA SQL, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
Experience with SAP HANA migration & Optimization HANA Sizing and performance tuning.
Functional background and understanding of SAP business processes.
Translating Functional Specifications into Technical Specifications.
Enterprise Data Warehouse and Reporting Strategy.
Working with large data volumes and ETL tools like SAP Data Services and others.
