What you will do:
As SAP Material Master, Bill of Material & Engineering Change Specialist you will be supporting new residential HVAC product introductions, regulatory/environmental requirements, cost savings, and maintenance changes. You will be working with Engineering teams to ensure that all required Material Master and Bill of Material changes for an Engineering Change have been completed accurately in SAP for release to other functional groups.

What you will do:
As SAP Material Master, Bill of Material & Engineering Change Specialist you will be supporting new residential HVAC product introductions, regulatory/environmental requirements, cost savings, and maintenance changes. You will be working with Engineering teams to ensure that all required Material Master and Bill of Material changes for an Engineering Change have been completed accurately in SAP for release to other functional groups.
How you will do it:
- Monitor and track Engineering Changes in SAP.
- Initiate Engineering Changes for Inactivation of residential HVAC Finished Goods.
- Participate in SAP Material Master Creation, Changes, Costing, and Inactivations.
- Participate in SAP multi-level Bill of Material Creation, Changes, Costing, and Inactivations.
- Create SAP Classification for residential HVAC Finished Goods produced in Wichita, KS with input from Engineer.
- Check SAP Engineering Change impact on Material Masters, Bills of Materials, Specs, and Engineering Drawings.
- Work closely with other functional groups to understand requirements for Material Masters and BOMs.
- Sign off on SAP Engineering Changes after completing all steps and checks as applicable.
- Update SAP Engineering Change tracking SharePoint files.
- Assist Engineering users with SAP questions on Material Master and Bill of Material creation or changes.
- Attend Engineering Change meetings and keep accurate notes.
- Follow data standards, processes, and procedures.
What we look for:
- Must have 4 years minimum of SAP experience, specifically with Material Masters, Bills of Material Creation or Changes, and Engineering Changes in SAP.
- SAP proficiency with SAP modules: Materials Management, Product Costing, Production Planning, Sales, and Engineering Changes in SAP (MM, CO, PP, SD, LO-ECH) is required.
- Advanced level of proficiency with MS Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook is required.
- Highly organized, pragmatic, and personable with a very clear and efficient communication style.
- Proven record of working in a fast paced, cross-functional team environment.
- Experience running/organizing meetings/note keeping.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred. Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
