Job Description:
Thinking Minds Inc.'s client is looking for an experienced SAP PP/PM Architect to lead the design, implementation, and support of their Production Planning, Shop Floor Execution, and Plant Maintenance functionalities in SAP S/4 HANA. This role involves both managing production incidents and supporting the development of new solutions through the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
As the SAP PP/PM Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners to drive successful implementations and ensure optimal functionality of the SAP modules. You will also lead localization efforts for new acquisitions and guide external consultants as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide functional support for SAP Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM) in S/4 HANA.
- Create and maintain technical design documents for ABAP development and ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.
- Analyze and improve existing business processes to add value and enhance system performance.
- Handle reporting, interfaces, enhancements, and localization for expanding business areas.
- Work closely with internal customers to meet project goals and align with business objectives.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience with SAP PP and SAP PM in a batch-managed environment.
- At least 3 full life cycle implementations in SAP ECC or S/4 HANA.
- Deep knowledge of master data, production orders, MRP, and maintenance scheduling.
- Experience with demand planning, shop floor execution, and quality management processes.
- Understanding of integration with MM, SD, QM, and FI/CO modules.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with virtual teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP PP Certification or ASCM CPIM certification is a plus.
- A strong strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and drive continuous improvement.
