Position: SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) Functional Consultant
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) Functional Consultant to join their team!
This role involves working on a specific project, which focuses on digitalizing the supply chain systems across various business units using Kinaxis. This position is a long term open ended contract, likely to extend to two years, and will serve as a critical liaison between business users and technical teams, facilitating the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Build and develop KPIs and metrics to assess supply chain efficiency, including on-time delivery and plan adherence.
- Act as a liaison between internal business users and technical teams to communicate supply chain data requirements effectively.
- Collaborate with developers to design and create data extracts needed for KPI and metrics generation.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for implementation by the technical team.
- Utilize SAP SCM module expertise to recommend best practices for KPI and metrics development.
- Optimize the integration of supply chain plan data from Kinaxis into Snowflake for KPI and metrics creation.
- Use Power BI for visualizing and reporting supply chain data to stakeholders.
- Engage in cross-functional team meetings to gather business requirements and align them with supply chain goals.
- Support continuous improvement in supply chain processes through data-driven insights and analytics.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience, with over 10 years in SAP SCM.
- Proven experience as an SAP SCM Consultant with a strong grasp of supply chain processes.
- Proficiency in SAP SCM modules such as MM, SD, PP, EWM, CO, and CO-PC.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA; experience in modeling HANA views is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams, including nearshore and offshore resources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to SAP SCM module issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional documentation skills for clear project communication.
- SAP certification is a plus.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Kinaxis is a plus.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes from an SAP SCM perspective.
- Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization.
