About the Job
Responsibilities:
- Provide first line monitoring support for SAP application modules, covering GMT time zone.
- Investigate issues with iDocs and other data transport objects throughout the GMT time zone and report and track issues to external vendors, Information Technology and/or Subject Matter Experts (SME).
- Resolve various known and repeating errors for iDocs such as re-submitting iDoc in queue (without intervention). Report all other errors through ServiceNow and ensure appropriate parties are engaged and resolve issues.
- Monitor and track electronic document transmission between systems including:
- Schedule monitoring job
- to evaluate iDocs received during a specific time.
- Create alerts to quickly identify critical events.
- Troubleshoot and research issues to understand where to route issue.
- Track message statuses to resolve issues quickly.
- Document issues as ticket in ServiceNow application.
- Document all issues and resolutions in Knowledge Base.
- Track completion of tickets and report to end users as required.
- Provide support for SAP Solution Manager such as copying PDF files from quality systems and creating documentation as required.
- Learn to resolve iDoc and other issues over time and demonstrate willingness and ability to learn new support tasks. Document resolutions in knowledgebase.
- Effectively manage time and schedule through training, SAP Solution Manager updates and other activities.
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- BS/BA required in a related field.
- 3+ years minimum required relevant experience.
- Prior SAP iDoc Monitoring 1 year min.
- Prior IT Administration experience 1 year min.
- SAP knowledge and experience nice to have.
