Job responsibilities and role include, but not limited to:
- Provide technical system and application support within the PDI 1sas migration team.
- Work within a small team with broad scope to plan, analyze, design, implement, maintain, and control the applications including: NDM file transmissions, SAS, Troubleshoot network, hardware and software issues and coordinate resolution with TOG SAS grid migration team.
- Participate on projects to perform migrations, upgrades, updates/writes documentation and procedures.
- Consult with and provide guidance to users and client groups, often recommending strategic solutions. May participate in the development of application architectures and management policies, procedures and standards.
- Helps define and support back-up & recovery strategy.
- Provides support to Production process & system migration development teams as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years systems support analysis experience
- SAS grid migration experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ Years' experience in one or more of the following technologies: Unix/Linux server migration
- Exhibits strong teamwork and individual drive - highly motivated, articulate and eager to learn.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment and maintaining a sharp attention to detail.
- Ability to learn/adapt quickly to a rapidly changing environment
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to analyze business problems and opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills (listening, conflict management, approachability, negotiations).
- Knowledge of the SAS Base/EBI application and SAS grid server infrastructure.
