Job Description: The SAS Viya System Administrator is responsible for enhancing, supporting, and administering our client's SAS Viya ecosystem. This role involves working as a Subject Matter Expert on SAS Viya, coordinating between technical, network, platform, functional, and customer support teams, and providing user guidance, issue triaging, and documentation upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance and support the SAS Viya ecosystem.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on SAS Viya, coordinating with various teams.
• Provide user best-practice guidance, issue triaging, and documentation upkeep.
• Troubleshoot and assist users with technical issues, including code migrations to Viya.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in SAS Viya administration.
• Experience deploying SAS Viya 4 on Azure Cloud platforms using Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of SAS, Linux, and SQL.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and kubectl commands.
• Experience integrating SAS Viya with tools like on-prem databases and cloud-based storage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and integration with Viya using Terraform.
• Experience in federal government Cloud or IT systems, familiar with CIS NIST standards.
• Well-versed in healthcare IT systems, with a focus on HIPAA compliance.
