Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is currently looking for a Saw Operator on 1st Shift to join our City of Industry team! They will be reporting to our Operations Supervisor at our aerospace foundry.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Read and understand PEIs.
- Recognize gating and castings.
- Distinguish between scrap and usable castings.
- Use fixtures as appropriate to hold and secure molds.
- Remove gate surfaces from castings.
- Use cutting wheel as necessary.
- Properly dispose of gate surfaces.
- Sign off on traveler.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Demonstrate care and operation of each cut off method.
- Use all safety precautions given and explained.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) not required
- Experience: At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- On the Job Training
- Certifications/Licenses: None
- Working Environment: Shop floor
- Required PPE: Check for required PPE in areas you may be working in
- Safety Glasses: Needed in all areas of the plant.
- Steel toe shoes: Needed in all areas of the plant.
- Hearing protection
- Leather apron or appropriate Kevlar coat
- Leather gloves
- Welders helmet
