About the Job
The Saw Operator will be responsible for the set-up and operation of the saw to ensure quality parts are produced to print, within established production standards.

- PAY: $18-$19/HR, DOE.
- HOURS: M-TH 6AM-4PM (Friday as needed)
- OVERTIME: Voluntary. Mostly done on Friday, but flexibility to do M-TH.

Responsibilities:
- Set up saw by selecting proper program, tooling, and materials. Make adjustments to programming as needed.
- Examine and inspect finished parts with a variety of precision and inspection measuring instruments, recognize non-conforming parts.
- Operate manual machines, such as a grinder, as needed to produce parts per print.
Skills:
- Technical training related to CNC machine operation preferred.
- Proven work history
Qualifications:
- Able to read and write in English to interpret blueprints, bills of materials and routings.
- Must be reliable, cooperative, with high attention to detail, and work well independently and as part of a team.
- Able to prioritize work and respond accordingly to the demands of various departments in order to keep production flowing.
- Participate in a culture of mutual trust and respect, with teamwork and accountability to each other and to organization goals.
- Able to pass pre-employment screening including Drug Screen & Background
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time, periodically during your shift.
- Stand and/or walk for long periods of time during a 10-hour shift with intermittent breaks.
- Work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Must always wear safety shoes and glasses while working on the production floor.
- Manufacturing experience of 1-3 years
