Job Title: Saw Operator (2nd Shift)
Job Description
The Saw Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining saw equipment, preparing steel materials for fabrication, and supporting various fabrication processes. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about learning and growing in the steel fabrication industry, with opportunities to grow into multiple fabrication positions.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and maintain saw equipment, including band saws.
+ Measure, mark, and cut steel materials to specifications.
+ Assist in the setup and calibration of saw equipment.
+ Inspect materials and finished products for accuracy and quality.
+ Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
+ Collaborate with fabrication team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
+ Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of saw equipment.
+ Learn and assist with other fabrication tasks as needed, including welding, grinding, and assembly.
