SCA Drafter/CAD Operator I - Bowhead / UIC Technical Services

Drafter/CAD Operator:

Bowhead seeks a Drafter/CAD Operator to join our team in supporting Fort Hunter Liggett/Camp Park on a future proposal effort.

Job duties to include but are not limited to: 

• Provide configuration management functional support to continue standardized planning, design, implementation, installation, O&M, and documentation of Communications and Information Technology (C&IT) systems. 

• Create and update drawings of all information systems circuits, lines, and systems into the Government’s Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) program. 

• Maintain a web-based information database composed of complex maps, cable/fiber configurations, digital and hard copy sketches, diagrams, drawings, photographs, databases, and tables configured in a database management system. 

• Utilyze AutoDesk AUTOCAD computer-aided drafting (CAD) software and Bluebeam REVU to provide drafting services.
• Other duties as assigned

• Autodesk Certification Preferred
• 2 years of CAD drafting preferred
• Candidates with additional experience are encouraged to apply
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a consulting environment on a Team setting

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.  US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
