Location: Allentown, PA (Hybrid) / Remote
12 Months contract

Desired Qualifications:
• Electrical Engineer
• 3+ years of relevant utility SCADA engineering experience
Pay Range: $80 - $85 Hourly
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Our full-time consultants have access to benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401K contributions as well as any other PTO, sick leave, and other benefits mandated by appliable state or localities where you reside or work.

Job Description:
The scope of work of this individual supporting as staff augmentation could include but is not limited to
- Ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of power distribution systems
- Maintaining and enhancing the performance of substations
- Supporting capital project work
- Creating and reviewing engineering drawings and documentation
- Monitoring equipment, and optimizing grid operations
- Collaborating cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA components into existing and new infrastructure
- Ensuring communication between field devices, RTUs (Remote Terminal Units), and the central SCADA control center
- Monitoring real-time data from substations
- Analyzing and troubleshooting alarms
- Performing regular maintenance and patches
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards (NERC CIP, IEEE, etc.) related to SCADA systems.
