About the Job
General
- The Schedule Manager focus is to work collaboratively with the project teams developing the overall project contract schedule, commencing with project pursuits through closeout and turnover.
- This position provides status updates on assigned projects, developing and maintaining schedules, incorporating design, submittal management, procurement, preconstruction, detailed construction & commissioning to provide an Industry leading scheduling program.
Get Work
- Support the Client Executive and entire pursuit team in project pursuits.
- Generate Client & A/E relationships.
- Play a key role in the preconstruction effort through to GMP.

Build Work
- To support effective collaboration, the Schedule Manager understands the Project Manager and Superintendent work as an integrated team to collectively manage the schedule. the Superintendent takes the lead on schedule, quality, safety, and logistics while the Project Manager takes the lead on the financials, technical resolution, material management and diversity with a common emphasis on safety.
- Maintain Client and A/E relationships throughout the project cycle and beyond.
- Build, manage and execute the project schedule and project financial information cost loading as required within the project based upon the collective input from the project team.
- Input actual start, expected finish and actual completion dates for all activities incorporating material management activities, impacts and progression of the work as developed by the project teams.
- Coordinate with all entities of the project teams, update cost/resource information as necessary.
- Review the critical path and Identify changes and project impacts in the schedule, modify logic based on prevailing conditions, and consult with project leadership team to develop workarounds and overcome obstacles and problem solve to support detailed recovery options for the project team including the Client.
- Manage and control all scheduling data through project management software (e.g. Primavera, P6, Synchro, etc.).
- Assess with the project team additional factors such as productivity, available labor and equipment resources, Inspection processes, material availability, outstanding and pending required information, weather constraints, utility company commitments, quantity of critical paths increasing project schedule risk and overall logistical constraints affecting the ability to successfully execute the project within the defined schedule.
- Provide schedule status reports for all project to the Sr. Vice President of Construction on a monthly basis.

- Committed to teach, guide, and enhance the scheduling skillset of the Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, Asst. Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Field Engineers directly involved with each of the project schedules.
- Committed to self-improvement through technical and leadership training.
Reports To
- Sr. Project Schedule Manager
- Work collectively with the Preconstruction Managers, Director of Estimating and Director of Purchasing throughout the preconstruction phase.
- Work Collectively with Sr. Vice President of Operations, Sr. Vice President of Construction, and the project teams to achieve company goals.
