Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling Representative responsible for patient scheduling and providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience. This role is integral to the smooth functioning of our clinics by facilitating seamless patient interactions and supporting our mission to deliver compassionate healthcare.
What You Will Do:
- Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is gathered.
- Provide courteous and effective communication with patients, family members, and medical staff.
- Uphold excellent customer service standards, assisting patients and families to navigate their care journey.
- Operate and maintain office equipment (computer, fax, phone, scanner) and adhere to compliance and confidentiality guidelines.
What You Will Need:
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: Preferably, three to six months in a medical office, clinic, or acute care setting.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using office technology and handling patient information securely.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a compliant work environment.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds per shift.
- Capable of prolonged sitting, standing, and walking for more than 7 hours daily.
- Frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching.
Working Conditions:
- Potential exposure to bloodborne diseases, hazardous materials, and odorous chemicals.
- May encounter challenging environments, including slippery or uneven surfaces and cramped spaces.
