What you'll be doing:
- Assisting project teams with items such as: Overall project schedule development, coordinating on project schedule updates through site visits, meetings, and reporting, and assisting preconstruction teams with proposal schedule.
- Learning and applying DeAngelis Diamonds SOP’s, standard operating procedures, to your work.
- Tracking material procurement with the project management team to support schedule execution in the field.
- Train and reinforce teams as needed in SOP requirements for coordination of schedule development and maintenance.
- Travel as needed to project sites for schedule development and oversight.
- Be a member of a team involved in formal presentations for projects.
What you need for this position:
- Passion for construction.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a positive "can-do" attitude.
- Outstanding communicator: able to synthesize complex information into simple, actionable insights and ability to communicate technical building processes with construction and non-construction team members equally.
- Commitment to providing a positive experience for all project stakeholders, clients, design professionals, subcontractors, and team members
- Commitment to mastery and developing your career and personal goals through continual learning opportunities such as DeAngelis Diamond Academy, conferences, seminars, workshops, and courses.
- Entrepreneurial team player who can multitask.
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, Primavera Project Planner (preferred / not required), Bluebeam, and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Passionate for construction and applying new technologies, concepts, and innovative solutions.
- Recent graduate or have grown through DD’s career path leading to this role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Strong personal integrity and has the highest ethical standards.
- Ability to function in a positive, friendly, high-energy, and collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in leading/managing meetings.
