As a School Based Urgent Care Clinician, you will provide crisis stabilization and brief treatment to children in the Framingham Public School system. You will collaborate with clinical and behavioral providers in helping schools meet the social-emotional needs of their children. You will have weekly supervision through Advocates, as well as support from the Framingham Public School district.

Minimum Education Required
Master's DegreeResponsibilities
- Provide short-term, in-school crisis stabilization and treatment to youth and their families.
- Assess clinical presentation and make level of care assessments and recommendations.
- Develop and coordinate short-term treatment planning.
- Coordinate referrals to CBHI, CBHC, and other community providers.
- Identify community resources and develop natural supports for youth and parent/guardian/caregiver.
- Provide coaching in support of decision making in both crisis and non-crisis situations.
- Conduct outreach as needed to engage children and families.
- Participate in risk management/safety planning.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with local Mobile Crisis Intervention team.
- Provide consultation and trainings to teachers and other school district staff.
- Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Master’s level degree in social work, counseling or related field
- 2+ years of experience providing clinical services to children, adolescents, or families
- Must have valid driver’s license and access to an operational and insured automobile.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
