Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor Behavior: Supervise students to ensure safety and prevent disruptions.
- Conduct Safety Checks: Ensure safety equipment is functional and perform routine checks.
- Respond to Emergencies: Manage emergencies and provide first aid if needed.
- Communicate Information: Relay issues or updates to parents and school staff.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the bus clean and organized.
- Follow Protocols: Adhere to school and transportation policies.
- Assist with Routes: Help with navigation and ensure correct student drop-off/pick-up.
- Promote Positivity: Foster a respectful and supportive atmosphere on the bus.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid Class B CDL
- Must have a passenger endorsement
- Must have a school bus endorsement
- Must hold a GED or High School diploma.
- Be capable of lifting up to 25 lbs, ensuring you can assist passengers as needed.
