School Health Family APRN - MetroHealth

Summary:

Delivers direct patient care to students, families and staff consistent with the advanced practice registered nurse’s education, experience and certification, in collaboration with a physician, which includes diagnosis, management and/or referral of health care issues. Promotes consumer, family, and community health through preventative health care actions and through patient advocacy. 

Qualifications:

Required: One or more years of experience practicing as an APRN. Family Nurse Practitioner certification. MSN or grandfathered under Ohio Revised Code Graduate of an accredited advanced practice registered nurse program. Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Ohio. Certificate of Authority as an Advanced Practice Nurse from the Ohio Board of Nursing. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or obtains within 90 days of hire. Obtains other advanced life support certifications applicable to practice area within 180 days of hire.
