About the Job
Adecco Healthcare is searching for a School Nurse Supervisor to become part of our client's team in Rochester, NY - 14620. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity.
Pay
$66,500-$76,500 per year (depending on experience/education)
Shift
- Monday-Friday
- 8am-4:30pm
- Full-Time, 40 hours a week
- No on-call
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) NY State License.
- Minimum of six months of professional nursing experience.
- Experience in providing care and support for clients with developmental disabilities.
- BLS Certification.
- NYS Abuse Course and Infectious Disease Certification.
Job Summary
Lead and supervise the nursing team, providing daily clinical guidance and support, and ensuring consistent and continuous care. Oversee staff supervision, approve time reporting, and manage caseload assignments to ensure all children receive necessary nursing services. Administer NYS mandated programs and immunizations, document health services, and maintain accurate health records for each student. Act as a liaison between home, school, and community providers, monitor health and safety standards, and participate in the school’s multi-disciplinary team. Support the development and implementation of the School Health program, communicate regularly with stakeholders, and pursue professional growth opportunities.
