About the Job
Cincinnati Urban Promise Inc., located in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a full-time School Program Director to oversee our school-age programs. This position offers a competitive salary of $35,000 - $50,000/year, along with a full benefits package, including:

This education position operates from Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM. The role requires onsite work, as well as field trips, community outreach, and school visitations. Additionally, there is one annual travel requirement to attend a professional development conference.
WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
As the School Program Director, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our school-age programs. Your duties will include planning staff schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing improvement plans to enhance program effectiveness. You will work closely with your team to implement organization-provided curriculum, ensuring that staff and volunteers understand and follow the established standards. During program hours, you will be on-site, overseeing the activities and ensuring a safe and educational environment for the children. You will also be responsible for developing engaging curriculum that sparks creativity and builds self-esteem in the children. Through community outreach and school visits, you will further strengthen our programs and partnerships.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A SCHOOL PROGRAM DIRECTOR?
- At least 21 years of age
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (youth development preferred)
- Supervisory experience and strong decision-making skills
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, Child Abuse Prevention, and Common Childhood Illnesses (or be willing to complete these)
- Excellent communication skills
- A love for working with children
- Commitment to the principles of the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA)
