Scientific Communication Associate at Atrium

Our client is an established skincare and beauty products global developer looking to add a Scientific Communication Associate to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$70,000 – $90,000

Position Overview:

This exciting hybrid role is for a Scientific Communication Associate who will be responsible for supporting product communication with Science Information, Claims Substantiation, R&D, and Marketing. The Scientific Communication Associate will process product information (ingredients, raw materials), claims, and related science information for the product portfolio to support ongoing product development and consumer-focused marketing communication.

Responsibilities of the Scientific Communication Associate:

• Collect, review, and process claims information to help substantiation and labeling.
• Assist in market trends research and competitive products studies.
• Work closely with the Legal department, Regulatory Affairs department, and Marketing department to formulate claim information for product updates.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of all communication information for easy access and references.
• Assist in other projects assigned.

Qualifications for the Scientific Communication Associate:

• Experience in communication roles in personal care or cosmetics industries.
• Experience in product claims substantiation or regulatory affairs.
• Experience in R&D or formulation in regulated lab environments.
• Experience in trends and product research preferred.
• Writing/reporting, project management, and documentation skills.
• Communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Cosmetics Science, or related disciplines.
