Scientist, in vivo - Immunology & Inflammation at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

We are seeking a driven non-Ph.D. level scientist with experience in inflammatory disease models to join our Immunology & Inflammation team. As a Scientist, you possess exceptional organizational skills and be capable of independently conducting in vivo and in vitro experiments. In this role, you will support a broad pipeline in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases by validating targets, assessing the efficacy of therapeutic candidate molecules, and interrogate mechanisms of pathology that inform therapeutic strategies.

As a Scientist, a typical day might include the following:

• Contributing to the advancement of research programs through cross-functional efforts.

• Experience with proper handling and care of mice, general surgical techniques and the collection of blood and tissue samples.

• Developing and optimizing relevant disease mouse models and the subsequent analysis of associated disease-related pathologies by flow cytometry, histology, and ELISAs.

• Troubleshooting methodological and technical issues, interpreting experimental data and literature, and communicating results to diverse groups of individuals.

• Collaborates and communicates effectively with team members to coordinate complex in vivo experiments.

• Contributing to lab and equipment maintenance and order supplies/reagents to help build a safe, effective and efficient working environment.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have earned a BS/MS level degree in Immunology, Cellular, Molecular Biology, or a related field with at least 7 years of experience. Experience with mouse experimentation is required. Knowledge of data analysis programs such as GraphPad PRISM or FlowJo analysis is preferred.
