Location: Norman, Oklahoma

Shift: 12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)

Salary: $17.39/hour - $28.40/hour (dependent on previous work experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Scrub Technologist to join our surgical services department. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room while providing support to the surgical team. Key Responsibilities:

• Orient new Scrub Techs to all surgical areas by providing comprehensive training and support with a dedicated preceptor.
• Assist the surgeon during operative procedures by preparing instruments and maintaining the sterile field.
• Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and sterile environment in the Operating Room.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to provide professional and dedicated care, focusing on patient safety and comfort.
• Stay informed about the latest practices and protocols in surgical technology.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a surgical setting is advantageous.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
