Responsibilities
Accountable for establishing and managing the framework for governance of Scrum and Testing Delivery
Accountable for process compliance, proper tool use
Accountable to promote better vertical visibility of scrumteams: Cost, resources, risks etc
Responsible for providing the necessary tools and reporting to manage program delivery
Responsible for management of program workstream progress and execution against agreed upon objectives
Responsible for monitoring and managing Core Program Management expectations and coordinate/execute corrective action to address gaps
Responsible for communicating program performance to program management office – could include areas such as onboarding, training, sprint plan, deliverable signoff, monitoring velocity, backlog, coordinating cross-Scrum data tool/data updates, project cost management via clarity
Responsible for defining standardized reports, liaison to establish report requirements/automation
Responsible for communicating to program team members across workstreams and coordinating cross-scream team communication, issue resolution, and integration defect triage
Responsible for communicating expectations and milestones for Clarity updates to Resource managers
Responsible for executing necessary plan and ETC updates in Clarity
Responsible to implement and execute disciplined Change control process including communication, estimation and impact to scrum teams and testing
Responsible for establishing schedule and process for product/iteration demo's and facilitate across scrum teams
Facilitate the Scrum process (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews & retrospectives)
Facilitate communication within the team and with the key stakeholders
Partner with dev lead to do capacity planning & resource allocation in Clarity and other time tracking tools
Partner with the QA lead to ensure the test team's questions for development (and other teams) are answered
Partner with the dev and QA leads to provide leadership and mentorship to the team
Partner with the dev and QA leads to uphold the integrity of the platform and promote best practices for platform maintenance and development
Partner with the platform ASC to facilitate resolution of risk/compliance issues
Coordinate with the platform dev lead, project managers, and product owners to do sprint and release planning for the platform
Coordinate with technical operations to address production issues for the platform
Coordinate with release management & QA to ensure smooth release processes are maintained
Coordinate with other bank teams to identify risks and to clear roadblocks Manage defect backlog including working with product management to prioritize and defer defects
Interface with project teams (particularly project managers, product managers & BA's) to make sure that stories and other project deliverables to the platform team are of sufficient quality and provided in a timely manner
Act as an advocate for the platform & the platform team and escalate their issues (focus on Sprints and project delivery
Identify and remove impediments to the ability of the team to deliver the product/platform goals and deliverables
Provide weekly reporting on platform progress against release goals and platform team activity
Maintain a platform backlog (non-project technical debt, refactoring tasks needed etc) and track work against those tasks
Work with architecture and engineering teams in distributed locations to drive planning, issue resolution, and development on platform & project specific technical topics
Oversee the day-to-day progress of Agile, Waterfall & Hybrid based development project(s) and release initiatives with regard to time, budget, scope and quality.
