About the Job
Position: Scrum Master
Location: Mclean, VA
Duration: Fulltime or Contract.
Rate: DOE (Looking for Local who can come for In Person Interviews)
Interview panel Availability 09:30 am EST, 09:30 AM EST, 03:30 PM EST and 04:30 PM EST All are Skype interviews.
Responsibilities
-Facilitate effective and efficient meetings including Agile/Scrum ceremonies
-Remove impediments for teams
-Maintain transparency into the team's work through metrics
-Be a servant leader to each team member and support the removal of blockers
-Engage multiple roles and stakeholders in critical discussions and consensus building
-Coach and support continuous improvement within the team
-Help identify and mitigate any external dependency risks in feature/product development
-Coordinate with other Scrum Masters and their teams on deliverables
Qualifications
-3-5 years relevant experience in a software development or delivery organization
-A minimum of 2+ year experience as a full-time Scrum Master
-A thorough understanding of Scrum and Agile principles, values, and practices
-Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) a plus
-Experience working in an environment utilizing current and leading edge technologies (e.g. SaaS, Enterprise Web Applications, etc.) preferred
-BS in Engineering or related discipline strongly desired
