The team... The Financial Systems Development team members develop, maintain, and support technology enabling Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Legal and New Business Development business areas. We are a collaborative group of team members that work closely with each other; with our support team; and our business partners to ensure that development work is completed on time and with high quality.
The position...We are looking for a mid-level Programmer Analyst to join our team. Our new team member will work in a positive, supportive team manner with our product owners and our business partners to design technical solutions for business needs. This team member will need to be able to work independently and with the team to estimate development efforts, code, and test.
Job Description:
• Work closely with product owners to enhance and maintain a wide portfolio of applications – such as PeopleSoft, Basware, Kofax, Tango Analytics, and BPC
• Contribute to the design and development of integrations between multiple systems
• Work with senior analyst on developing/modifying applications/integrations to the specifications in design documents
• Assist in tuning code for existing systems and advise with planning of future systems
• Design and execute Unit tests. Work closely with testers, product owners, business partners, and infrastructure teams to ensure that changes made are high quality
• Create diagrams, data models, and chart application solution for Low Level Design documents. Update other system documentation as needed
• Work with the senior analyst on code reviews
• Be involved in implementing and testing new vendor POCs. Provide ongoing feedback to leadership about existing vendors.
• Actively participate in the decision making and prioritization process for changes to systems
• Understand needs and wants of the business partners - how they do their work and what they need.
