Job Description
The Search Analyst II will have a demonstrated history of planning, executing, and optimizing search campaigns on both Google and Bing to drive traffic and conversions for partners. This role will work closely with our Accounts and Performance departments executing off campaign goals and objectives. The person in this role will be highly organized, be able to effectively manage budgets across multiple assigned partners, demonstrate knowledge of advertising (preferably automotive &/or outside ecommerce), effectively conduct keyword research, and audience targeting, upskilling themselves on recent trends, and most importantly be a team player.

Essential Functions
Partner with and collaboratively work with various departments (e.g. Accounts, Performance, Business Ops) daily.
Effectively plan, implement, and optimize search campaigns for a minimum of 30 partners.
Pre-plan campaigns/ads by conducting necessary research (e.g. keywords, audiences, landing environments, where traffic is being/should be driven, territory maps).
Proactively stay on top of campaign performance, make & document optimizations, and ad-spend per campaign.
Proactively ensure keywords, ad copy, and territory maps are all relevant.
Proactively ensure campaigns are starting and stopping on-time, everytime.
Provide reports on optimizations made and performance.
Frequently mentor other team members on (e.g. trends, new ways of doing things, help).
Provide strategy and leadership to the department.
Stay updated on SEM platforms, tools, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Proactively escalate if significantly over/under on spending, issues, etc.
Test, monitor, and flawlessly execute paid search tactics to optimize campaigns, manage budgets, and analyze data and insights.
Identify new opportunities to drive revenue and profitability within Google’s advertising opportunities (Search, Display, Remarketing, and Video).
Work within our DSP/DMP, looking for new optimization opportunities through first-party and third-party data.
All other duties as assigned by iFrog Leadership.
Additional Responsibilities
If a local iFrog employee, the ability to work on a hybrid 3+2 office/work-from-home model (5 days at the office for the initial 90 days).
Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends related to paid search and digital marketing best practices to help contribute innovative and strategic ideas to the team.
Work with and understand outside platforms like Basis and DEP units, and effectively coordinate cross-platform campaigns.
Stay up to date with the most current Google trends, updates, and algorithm changes, and proactively incorporate them into SEM and SEO strategies
Collaborate with the Search Director and other stakeholders to align SEM and SEO strategies with overall marketing and business objectives.
Provide guidance and support to team members, including training on SEM platforms, Google trends, and new product features.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and staying ahead of industry developments.
For automotive clients, understand key factors such as inventory, incentives, and sales events to ensure paid search tactics are aligned with partner goals.
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or work equivalent.
Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications (may be obtained within 1 year of hire date).
Proficient with Google Merchant Center to manage product feeds and optimize product listings for Google Shopping campaigns.
Willingness to understand and explore new Google products and features as they are released, and evaluate their potential for improving SEM and SEO performance
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines.
Preferred Education & Experience
Knowledge of marketing metrics, analysis, and interpretation.
Working knowledge of the automotive industry.
Proficient with Google Suite.
Proficient with macOS.
