About The Role:

The Seasonal Starbucks Associate is responsible for assisting customers and providing great customer service. The Seasonal Starbucks Associate must be a quick learner with the ability to remember ingredients, prepare quality beverages, and fill customer orders. The associate must have the ability to greet customers, build relationships, and work effectively in a team environment.

This position also requires the ability to keep and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Respond to customer concerns and requests and ensure all store property and personnel are secure.

What You Do:

• Prepares quality beverages, whole beans, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Also, follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers for cues.
• Communicates information to the manager so that the team can respond as necessary to create a quality customer environment during each shift.
• Follows Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
• Stocks products and maintains shelves/stock organizes and arranges product and merchandise as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Previous Barista/food service experience preferred
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age to be considered for employment
• Ability to safely operate coffee equipment and perform accurate transactions as necessary
• Effective work methods and consistently meets commitments
• Strong customer service skills including effective communication
• Computer literacy desired
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel and bend for the length of your shift
• Previous retail, customer service or clerical experience
