Seasonal Tax Preparer
Location: Woodlands, Tx
Pay Rate: $18 - $22 DOE
*Will be starting Orientation the first week of December 2024. Position is seasonal from January to April. *

Responsibilities
• Conduct face-to-face and virtual tax interviews
• Prepare and file accurate tax returns
• Increase client retention and offer additional products/services
• Assist clients with IRS support and notices
• Mentor junior team members and support team development
Experience Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and providing audit support
Qualification:
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax
• Familiarity with completing individual tax returns
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements for continuing education
Skills
• Conduct tax interviews with clients using virtual tools and in-person
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth and increase client retention
• Provide IRS support and audit representation
• Mentor and support teammates
• Excellent communication skills in person, via phone, and in writing
