Seasonal - Youth Basketball Program Coordinator - Town of Normal

The position will be responsible for helping supervise and coordinate coaches upon site location. Communication between coaches, site coordinator and recreation supervisor will be maintained through this position. The coordinator will be responsible for daily practices on location including helping unlock any storage, help coaches retrieve equipment and help with clean up at the end of the day. Coordinators will also serve as a liaison between the rec supervisor and the public in which they can help answer questions, direct traffic and pass along important program information on site. 

Coordinator will oversee the following programs and keep location on time, help with communication, traffic and checking on coach's needs. 

EVENING AND WEEKEND HOURS

Biddy Basketball (Ages 5-6) - Clinic setting learning basic skills for basketball (Mon-Thurs)

Pee Wee Basketball Clinic (Ages 7-8) - Clinic setting enhancing basketball skills (Mon-Thurs)

Pee Wee Basketball (Ages 5-9) - Basketball league focusing on fundamentals (Tues/Thurs/Sat)

Hoop Stars (Ages 10-11) - Basketball league enhancing fundamental skills and focusing on team based game play (Tues/Thurs/Sat)

Program is Multi-Seasonal
*Fall (October and November)
*Winter (December, January and February)

Position Guaranteed - 10-20 hours weekly for all seasons
