Secondary Setup Technician – Broach – 3rd Shift Direct Hire opportunity for an experienced Broach Setup / Technician. EXCELLENT BENEFITS! This 3rd shift position will train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks. The Broach Setup Technician will setup and operate broach, straightening, assembly and laser machine to meet production and quality requirements. You will operate machinery in the secondary department, including Hurcos, Sunnen and lapping machines. Ensure parts are properly machined (lapped, honed, milled and drilled.) Hours: 1st shift while training. Options for OT. 3rd shift hours TBDPay: $18-$23/hour plus 15% shift differential on 3rd shiftBenefits: Medical, Dental, Prescription, Eye; Paid vacation and paid personal time; Life insurance; 401K; FSA; Education opportunities Secondary Setup Technician Responsibilities:

- Assemble parts as needed
- Make machine adjustments as required to maintain print specifications
- Load and unload machines as per the cycle time noted on the traveler
- Study and determine the part tolerances and methods of measurement for each job
- Deburr parts when necessary
- Set-up machines
- Use micrometers, height gages, and optical comparators and visual checks for part inspection as well as indicators and gages
- Maintain clean and organized department and work area
- Assist in determining tooling & fixturing needs
- Take parts to inspection when necessary
- Use inspection methods to determine size changes
- Analyze blueprints & travelers
- Complete all necessary paperwork as required in a timely & accurate manner
- Ability to run more than one machine, maintaining run times as required
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to think critically
- Ability to use micrometers, indicators, and precision gages
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Maintain confidentiality
- Develop alternative solutions when needed
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to adhere to 6S and lean standards
