Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Director of Networks and Systems, responsible for the oversight and coordination of all information security initiatives (virus protection, security monitoring, intrusion detection, access policies, communication controls, OS, and device security). Responsible for identifying, developing and implementing security changes and enhancements as well as determining appropriate security measures and creating policies and procedures that address prevention, detection, containment and correction of security breaches

Work Experience
Five years of experience designing, implementing and supporting the security and availability of complex network infrastructures. Strong experience in the development and enforcement of security policies and standards as well as experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, auditing, and risk analysis required. Experience with project management and project management tools (such as MS Project) is highly preferred. HIPAA training is a plus.
Technical experience must include:
1. Designing, implementing and supporting multi-site IP network environments,
2. High level of proficiency and understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, encryption, PKI, Operating systems, virtualization, Windows Server, VMWare, routers, router filtering, firewalls, authentication methods.
3. Hands-on experience with network switches and routers.
4. Familiarity with VMWare, Microsoft server products, and databases is preferred.
5. Familiarity with NIST special publications, including RMF and NIST security controls.
License/Registration/Certification
Industry recognized security certifications (CISA, CISSP, CompTIA, Microsoft Security) preferred.
Education and Training
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Management or related field required.
