Security Command Center Officer - TEKsystems

Job Title: Security Command Center Operator Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES - Monitors Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) system for alerts, alarms, and other events. - Responds to alarm events and security situations based on Standard Operating Procedures or policies. - Coordinates Law Enforcement response to security incidents. - Makes notifications to various internal and external people or groups. - Operates CCTV cameras to ascertain the cause of events and coordinate response to those. - Performs access management tasks in the assigned systems to create badges, assign access, and remove access based on policies. - Central Point of Contact for the Corporate Security team. Answers phone calls, text messages, and emails regarding security and access management. - Fill out appropriate logs, reports, and other documents to properly report on the activities of the SCC. - Identify and report any broken, damaged, or non-operational security equipment for repair. - Visitor Check in at designated locations. - Works with internal and external customers to assist with questions, concerns, and other reports. - Attends trainings, staff meetings, and other assigned meetings as required. - Completes required self-guided training to maintain company and professional knowledge - Performs other duties as assigned Essential Skills + Monitoring PSIM systems + Responding to alarm events + Coordinating Law Enforcement responses + CCTV operation + Access management + Communication skills + Report writing + Customer service Job Type This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Bellevue, Washington. Work Environment 100% onsite, no chance to work remotely. Free parking. Team-oriented environment. Snacks provided. Classroom training at SE Center St, Snoqualmie, WA. Dress code: business casual attire, clean and in good condition, free of logos and graphics, no t-shirts or jeans, close-toed footwear required.
