Job Summary
This position is responsible for performing access control, routine patrols, emergency/incident response and ensuring completion of administrative requirements as assigned by the Security Office. This includes monitoring all access/exit points for anomalies and conducting access control; patrolling the perimeter, exterior and interior of the property to ensure the safety of personnel and protection of property; enforcing Club policies; engaging in security training; completing written reports; documenting daily activities; abiding by standard operating procedures; and responding to security incidents.
Job Duties
- Conduct access control at all access/exit points to ensure only authorized personnel and guests are permitted on property and unauthorized individuals are removed.
- Quickly respond to emergency situations based on available information and training, make appropriate notifications, follow emergency response procedures.
- Identify threats to employees, facilities, and operations.
- Patrol the perimeter, exterior and interior of the property to ensure the safety of all personnel and protection of the property.
- Complete assigned training according to Club policies and procedures.
- Complete written reports as required.
- The Security Department is a 24/7 resource, which provides assistance and services to all employees and guests.
Qualifications
- High School GED Equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred
- 1-3 years Security work experience in a professional setting. Preferred
- Experience performing technical procedures and completing reports.
- Comfortable working under pressure.
- Dedicated to providing quality service.
- Familiarity with Security policies and procedures.
- Ability to quickly assess and respond to emergency situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Ability to follow detailed, step by step, procedures.
- Understand operational priorities, take initiative, and exercise sound independent judgment.
- Capable of working independently without extensive direction or oversight.
- Use technology to process information, improve security and communications.
- Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
- Valid Driver's License, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicles record and minimum liability insurance - Issued by State
- Guard Registration- Bureau of Security and Investigative Services
Scope
- Work is closely managed and reviewed for accuracy and adequacy. Follows specific, outlined, and detailed directions.
- Provides resolution to problems that are readily identifiable with limited scope and are resolved in accordance with standard practices, procedures, applications or routines. Problem/Task resolution timeframe: The majority of tasks typically take one to two days to resolve.
- Under immediate supervision, performs assigned tasks only as instructed, subject to regular check of performance.
- Individual Contributor
- Failure to accomplish results can normally be overcome without significant effect on the organization.
- Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor and others in group or department to give and receive information.
The starting pay range for this position is:
$16.51 - $22.01
Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
