Security Officer - 75N - Wyndham Indianapolis West

**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for our company. The Security Officer will be responsible for patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, and controlling access points.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role
- Strong observational and surveillance skills
- Ability to operate security equipment such as surveillance cameras and x-ray machines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus

**Responsibilities:**
- Patrol the premises regularly to ensure security
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms
- Inspect buildings to prevent unauthorized access
- Control access points and check identification
- Respond to emergencies and alarms
- Report any security violations to management
- Complete reports documenting observations and activities

**Additional Requirements:**
- Must be willing to work on a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Possess a valid security guard license
- Knowledge of basic security and fire inspection procedures
