Now Hiring Security Officers in the Reston, VA area! full-time opportunities are available. Looking for Weekends/Weekday and overnight availability.
DCJS License and Driver's License are required for this position.
The Security Officer is accountable for the safety and security of the facilities they protect. Our security officers.
- act as a visible deterrent to crime
- identify and report suspicious, dangerous, or criminal acts
- perform foot patrol in outside environments
- monitor CCTV
- operate a two-way radio
- produce and maintain different security operations reports and forms
- provide guidance and directions to guests
Successful candidates must have
- excellent customer service, phone, and computer skills
- two (2) years of security experience
- Active DCJS
- proficient two-way radio communication skills
- CCTV and dispatch experience
- a high school diploma or equivalent
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- the ability to successfully complete a background and drug screen in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- the ability to stand for long periods of time and ability to walk, patrol for a complete 8-hour shift
- a valid U.S. Driver's License - required
Pay: $19/hr
Hours:
- (Full-time)
- 4pm-12am
- 12am-8am
