Job Description Summary
maryThe Security Officer reports to the Medical Center Security Manager. Under general supervision, the Security Officer monitors and provides protection and security for facilities, premises, employees, patients and visitors. Ability to communicate tactfully with the general public. Knowledge of methods of security in buildings and grounds institution. Performs routine and repetitive duties following clearly prescribed standards and practices as set forth by the Manager of Hospital Security. Work involves shift work and some overtime. Must be able to use tact and communicate clearly with public.
