SORSEN Security is seeking professional and vigilant Armed Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of clients’ assets and personnel. The role requires monitoring premises, responding to security threats, access control, public relations, and enforcing company protocols.
Qualifications$19 per hour to start. Shift leader roles are available at a higher starting rate. SORSEN pays all State licensing fees. Paid training provided without cost. Uniforms provided without cost. Continuing education provided without cost. Indoor and outdoor assignment in a hotel like environment.
A valid Utah unarmed guard license, combined with previous experience in security, military service or law enforcement is a must. Armed license is preferred but not required.
• 2 years previous experience in security, military service or law enforcement or 3 years in customer service dealing with the public.
• Excellent communication and situational awareness skills. English fluency required.
• Basic computer proficiency is a requirement. You'll be taught how to use our apps.
• High school diploma required. College degree desirable but not required.
You will be working with the homeless population in a hands-off, supportive role designed to create lasting change and improvement in the lives of disadvantaged persons. Here are some of the key desirable qualities:

10. Crisis Management Skills: The ability to handle situations calmly, especially when individuals are in distress or facing a crisis, can prevent conflicts from escalating.
