Job Purpose
The Operations Coordinator supports the Security Operations Manager with scheduling responsibilities, training duties, and other administrative and supervisory tasks as assigned. More importantly, this team member is responsible for ensuring our frontline employees are set up for success for each and every shift they work.
Job Duties
- Assist with scheduling all shifts. This includes daily, one-time, and training shifts. Scheduling should be done in a manner that is efficient for the Company, avoiding overtime whenever possible, and effective for the team members. Time Off Requests, staff personalities, and client needs all must be balanced appropriately. The goal is to provide a schedule that ensures employee satisfaction, client satisfaction, and strong company profitability.
- Conduct weekly site checks to ensure compliance with company policies, protocols, and standards. Complete Check-In Reports for each site.
- Visit new and current sites to review, prepare, and update site protocols. Write and edit site protocols as assigned.
- Ensure staff working new sites are issued the site protocols and they understand what is expected of them.
- Communicate with ongoing clients, escalating any concerns or adjustments to their protocols as needed. Handle client complaints according to our company conflict resolution policies.
- Fill in shifts as a Security Officer or Shift Supervisor when needed. This could be as frequently as 1-2x a week. Some overnights will be required.
- Coordinate the SLED application process for all security officers. Ensure the officer’s SLED card is kept valid and renewals are submitted in a timely manner.
- Coordinate uniform and supply issuance and turn-ins.
- Attend meetings including but not limited to planning meetings, operations meetings, and sales recaps.
- Responsible for understanding, compiling, and submitting reports on assigned KPIs.
- Continue to foster the company culture of High Spirits Hospitality by being an active, passionate member of our management and event team.
- Handle other special projects as requested.
- Provide on-call support as scheduled for all operations and frontline staff. Answer questions and address situations as they arise.
- Responsible for reporting all positive and negative actions of the staff according to company protocols. Work with company leaders to ensure all employee reprimands, communications, and training records are conducted and documented in a timely manner according to company and SLED policies.
- Assist the sales department with identifying new business opportunities and contacts through cold calling, networking, and analyzing our current customer base to expand on their needs.
- Ensure all facilities, vehicles, and equipment are maintained and kept in good working order. Responsible for conducting weekly inspections of our facilities and ordering repairs or improvements as needed.
- Liaise with law enforcement as needed, both proactively and reactively.
- Ensure our standards of practice meet all SLED and OSHA requirements for security and employee safety. Implement new policies and training as needed to ensure compliance.
- Reports directly to the Security Operations Manager.

- Must be a US Citizen for SLED licensing purposes.
- Must maintain a SLED armed security officer license.
- Must stay current on all SLED security officer training(s). Should complete supplemental training as required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must comply with our Company Wellness policies, recognizing that the policies may change based on our current health climate.
- Must demonstrate exceptional customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work independently while following orders and protocols.
