Security Privacy Engineer at Mastech Digital

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a SecurityPrivacy Engineer for our client in the Professional Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. Duration: 4+ Months Contract 

Location: Remote (Dallas, TX)

Salary: $65.00-$75.00/Hourly

Role: Security Privacy Engineer

Primary Skills: Security Analysis

Role Description: The Security Privacy Engineer must have 5+ years of experience. 

Qualifications:

- 3-5+ years of experience supporting the development and improvement of privacy and security programs, such as data protection impact assessments and privacy by design.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with IT, legal, and business teams to understand privacy requirements and implement appropriate security controls.

- Design and deploy innovative solutions to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

- Conduct privacy and security assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.

- Develop and maintain documentation related to privacy and security policies, procedures, and controls.

- Stay abreast of new privacy laws and regulations and ensure company compliance.

- Provide training and guidance to employees on privacy and security best practices.

- Assist with the management of privacy and security incidents, including investigation, response, and reporting.

- Information Security

- Privacy Laws and regulations (and how to interpret)

- Solution engineering for privacy products

Required Skillsets or Tools:

- GitHub

- GitHub Advanced Security

- AWS as relates to Application Security

- Need to work Central time zone

Additional Skills: 

- Required skillsets or tools - OneTrust, GitHub, AWS, Application Security, GitHub Advanced Security.

Education: Any/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No
